In celebration of Brandi's birthday we totally ruin John Carpenter's The Thing by talking over it. That's right, it's another one of our lame movie commentaries. We also recall the events of Brandi's birthday, including some second thoughts on another viewing of Marvel's The Avengers.

The Dark Track of the Week is Lonely Winter by Drugstore Fanatics from the album, Born in the Basement. 

Rather than debate as to what qualifies as a giant robot or a mech suit this week we choose to discuss both. From anime to live action films, from video games to table top role-playing games we cover various types of big, mechainzed humanoid weapons. We take time out to share our thoughts on Marvel's Avengers as well as the usual discussion about podcasts, TV, and video games.
