We've had a real good time over the last 10-15 years with SF on TV. From X-FIles and Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Doctor Who. In the US there has been a massive upswing in SF themed shows...Heroes and Lost, Chuck, Fringe and Firefly. But recently, things appear to be souring. More and more of our fave genre shows are being cancelled or put in to 'death slots' by schedulers. In the UK, other than Dr Who, the BBC and ITV are doing very little that is groundbreaking or innovative. So...is this the slippery down slope towards the death of SF on TV?
