On April 19th 2011 the world of Doctor Who lost its brightest shining star. Actress Lis Sladen, aka Sarah Jane Smith, passed away after a long illness. She was just 63.
So for one-time only (this may not be true!) Neil & Tanja are using some special wibbly-wobbly timey-whimey magic to extend their 5 minutes to an hour and 14 minutes in order to pay tribute to Lis, through a series of memories and thoughts, shared by Dr Who fans, friends and creators.
We hear from DW writers Paul Magrs, Paul Finch and Jason Arnopp; from Dalek-operator Barnaby Edwards; from DW audiobook commissioning editor Michael Stevens; and from a host of fans and friends.
Throughout, Neil & Tanja share their thoughts about lis and Sarah Jane Smith…as well as Neil's own memories of producing her recent audiobooks.
