Tim & Brad's Appytimes!

GeekPlanetOnline is proud to announce the addition of a brand new original podcast to our partnership network - and if you're a fan of rechargeable devices (stop sniggering at the back!) this one's going to be right up your alley (right, see me after class!). Please give a very warm welcome to the incomparable Appytimes!

It Came From Podbean...! Yes, the popular and witty tech discussion show Appytimes - hosted by Tim Morris and sometime Soldier of Tangent Brad Thornton - has officially joined the ever-growing community at GeekPlanetOnline. Beginning as an iPhone app review show, the series has recently expanded to include reviews and discussion of the Android and general tech chat as well, all of it executed with the same level of witty banter that you've come to expect from the GeekPlanetOnline family.

So, whether you're a full-on gadgeteer or simply a smartphone owner looking for advice on the latest software, there's something to entertain and inform you on this fantastic show. We couldn't be prouder or more honored that  Appytimes has chosen us as their new home. The first GPO-exclusive episodes are coming soon, but in the meantime here's a little sneak preview...

Matt Dillon

The creator, Publisher, webmaster, cartoonist and first ever Podcaster of GeekPlanetOnline. So there. When he's not busy tinkering with the site, recording or editing a podcast, Matt can be found catching up with a TV show that he's got into three years after everybody else or pissing his life away playing videogames. He's rubbish at them, but he plays them anyway.

Matt got his first taste of journalism writing for Sci-Fi London between 2007 - 2008. Since then he has written freelance for SFX Magazine ("But hasn't everybody?" he says), drawn more cartoons than is healthy and embarked upon writing a series of novellas, some of which actual human beings have actually read. He lives in West Sussex with several goldfish and a ridiculously large collection of movies and retro games consoles. He was officially sorted into Hufflepuff house in 2012.
