Appytimes

It is with a heavy heart that GeekPlanetOnline must announce that the popular mobile software and technology podcast Appytimes. The press release, posted yesterday by co-host Tim Morris, reads as follows.

"Brad and I regret to announce that we have decided to bring Appytimes to an end with immediate effect.

We came to the decision because we were both finding it more difficult to keep releasing the shows regularly and we were becoming more sporadic, and you lovely people deserve much more than that.

We want to thank GeekPlanetOnline for giving us a home, introducing us to a new audience and helping us both to meet good friends. GeekPlanetOnline is a bloody great place to frequent, and it's filled with awesome people. It was an honour to be part of the family.

Until next time..."

We at GeekPlanetOnline would like to extend our thanks to Brad and Tim for the time they've spent with us, and for their wonderful and far-reaching contribution to the community as a whole. We think we speak for everyone when we say that their show will be missed considerably - but we're sure that this isn't the last we've seen of either of them. Cheers boys, and keep Appy.

Matt Dillon

The creator, Publisher, webmaster, cartoonist and first ever Podcaster of GeekPlanetOnline. When he's not busy tinkering with the site, recording or editing a podcast, Matt can be found catching up with a TV show that he's got into three years after everybody else or pissing his life away playing videogames. He's rubbish at them, but he plays them anyway.

Matt got his first taste of journalism writing for Sci-Fi London between 2007 - 2008. Since then he has written freelance for SFX Magazine ("But hasn't everybody?" he says), drawn more cartoons than is healthy and completed a novel, which is terrible and will never see the light of day. He lives in West Sussex with a lot of fish, and wishes he didn't.
