Okay so WNATM will be there,

I'll be there on the Saturday, or dead, whichever comes first.

Anyone else going to make it to the event?

I won't be. I don't mind it when I have the money but the Expo isn't my favourite of the shows plus there inevitably seems to be some vital tube or DLR line down.

I've been there 3 times now, and again - train line closures that kill the direct route for me.

Didn't spot the WNATM guys there, but it was a great event.

Ridiculous queues though, the one thing I hate about this pariticular convention is that it has horrendous queues.

The venue's usually fine for space though, but the queues were ridiculous.

Oh yes the queues are just awful. The whole thing has grown bigger and bigger over the years. The Expo was the first sci-fi con I ever went to back in 2002 and that was because of Michelle Tractenberg and Kristine Sutherland from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

These days though it's more anime orientated and that just doesn't interest me.

Anime and Console games did seem to dominate the scene (though that bothers me less), a lot of the highlights for me this year were certainly Japanese in Origin.

Collectorama seems to be the next convention on the list, it certainly seems to be more of a western geek convention.

Also, Lando is making an appearance.

agreed. I've covered the last 3 london expo's (badly) and there's more and more games each time. Too bad no proper PR people are there as after "when does the game come out?" you're stuck for questions to ask them. But that certainly can't compare to the sight of obese She-Ra. A piece of my soul died that day

That was the actual She-Ra, she's done a "Claire from Steps".
