So, Doctor Who is back and this first episode seems a hit worldwide. Whilst the content felt good, the plot itself felt a little weak in places. There were few surprises though there was a clear attempt at a twist, it was so clearly telegraphed to me from the start.

This didn't really detract from the show as the twist wasn't hugely important to the episode, but if it was meant to be a clever twist, it wasn't. What's more annoying is that Rory didn't pick up on anything being suspicious when the Doctor fed him a key discrepancy.

Really enjoyed it. I didn't see the twist coming to be honest.

The Daleks in the asylum seemed more broken than insane, so I don't think they were that much scarier than your average Dalek personally.

Great start to the new series, and I think I'm a bit in love with the new companion.
