Just finished Socrates in Love by Kyoichi Katayama, it's a bit like P.S I Love You or something similar, a big ol' weepy. If you're not into that sort of thing, you'll think it melodramatic tosh, but I found it very moving and sweet. It's about love and loss and coping with grief... I'm moving onto The Final Programme by Michael Moorcock next.

I've given up on The Final Programme and moved onto re-reading Maskerade! I hadn't read it over ten years and forgotten most of the good bits. I've got up to the Death and Granny Weatherwax poker game and... criminy, you forget that on a very basic level, Pterry's a damned good writer.

And for March I read 4 books starting with "The" -

The Burning Man by Mark Chadbourn, book 2 of his Kingdom of the Serpent trilogy

The Eternal Prison by Jeff Somers, the third book in the action SF Avery Cates series

The Korean War by Carter Malkasian, a brief introduction to the subject, part of Osprey's Essential Histories

The Baby Killers by Jay Lake, a literary steampunk novella from PS Publishing, not read much by him so not sure if it's connected to any of his other books

Finished part 2 of A Storm Of Swords last weekend and just started A Feast For Crows.

I'll be all up to date on A Song Of Ice And Fire then until A Dance With Dragons comes out (hopefully) in July.
